Topped with a colorful array of fresh vegetables and aromatic herbs, each bite is a celebration of wholesome goodness.

Ingredients

2-1/4 teaspoons (1 packet) Active Dry Yeast

1 cup Warm Water (about 110°F/45°C)

2-1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour

1 teaspoon Sugar

1 teaspoon Salt

2 tablespoons Olive Oil

1 cup Pizza Sauce (or more if you desire)

1-2 cups Vegan Mozzarella Cheese (depending upon how cheesy you like your pizza)

Toppings

Options: Black Olives, Vegan Sausage, Mushrooms, Tomatoes, Red Pepper Flakes, Sun Dried Tomato, Bell Peppers, Jalapeño, Basil after its baked or whatever you like

Instructions

In a small bowl, combine the warm water and sugar. Sprinkle the yeast over the water and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Make a well in the center and pour in the activated yeast mixture and olive oil. Using a wooden spoon or your hands, mix until the dough comes together. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until the dough becomes smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours, or until it has doubled in size.

Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air bubbles and transfer it back to a floured surface.

Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).

Divide the dough into desired portions and shape each portion into a round ball. Roll out each ball into a flat round shape to your desired thickness.

Place the rolled-out dough onto a baking sheet or pizza stone lined with parchment paper.

Add your favorite vegan pizza toppings, such as tomato sauce, vegan cheese, vegetables, herbs, etc.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the toppings are cooked to your liking.

Remove from the oven, slice, and serve hot.
