Vegan Golden Milk

Vegan Golden Milk

Enjoy a warm, soothing cup of vegan Golden Milk, a delicious blend of almond milk, turmeric, ginger, and cinnamon. This nourishing beverage is packed with anti-inflammatory properties, thanks to curcumin in turmeric and ginger's digestive benefits. Rich in antioxidants, Golden Milk helps boost your immune system and improve overall health. Enjoy it as a comforting treat while reaping the benefits of its natural, plant-based ingredients.

Ingredients

2 cups unsweetened Almond Milk (or any Plant-Based Milk of your choice)

1-1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder

1/2 tsp Cinnamon Powder

1/4 tsp Ginger Powder (or 1/2 inch Gresh Ginger, grated)

1/4 tsp Black Pepper

2 Tablespoon Maple Syrup or Agave Syrup (adjust to taste)

1 tsp Coconut Oil (optional for creaminess)

1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract (optional)

A pinch of Nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

In a small saucepan, combine the almond milk, turmeric powder, cinnamon powder, ginger powder, and black pepper. If using fresh ginger, grate it directly into the saucepan.

Place the saucepan over medium heat. Stir the mixture well to ensure all the spices are fully incorporated.

Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, but do not let it boil. Simmer for about 5-10 minutes, allowing the spices to infuse into the milk. Stir occasionally.

Add the maple syrup or agave syrup to the saucepan and stir well. Adjust the sweetness to your liking.

If desired, add the coconut oil for extra creaminess and the vanilla extract for a hint of sweetness and flavor. Stir well to combine.

If you used fresh ginger or if you prefer a smoother texture, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a mug.

Pour the golden milk into a mug. Sprinkle a pinch of nutmeg on top, if desired.

Serve warm and enjoy the soothing, anti-inflammatory benefits of this delicious vegan golden milk.
