Vegan Chocolate Almond Spread

Updated: Apr 15

I created this rich delicious chocolate spread using almond butter when I didn't have any hazelnuts on hand. It came out soooo good!!! It's so easy to make and perfect because as a vegan I had all these ingredient on hand. It's an easy alternative to Nutella hazelnut spread and much cheaper.

Ingredients

1 cup Creamy Almond Butter (unsweetened)

1/4 cup Cacao Powder or Coco Powder

1/4 cup Agave Nectar

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Pinch of Salt

1/4 cup Plant Based Milk (I used unsweetened Almond) add 1 TB at a time

Instructions

In a medium bowl mix almond butter, cacao powder, agave nectar, vanilla extract and salt until smooth and well combined.

Stir in 1 tablespoon of the plant based milk into the chocolate mixture until smooth. Continue to add the plant based milk 1 tablespoon at a time until you get a creamy chocolate spread.

Store in the fridge for 2-3 weeks.

Have this delicious chocolate spread on toast, pancakes, oatmeal, rice cakes, fruit or anything you can imagine.
