Vegan Apple Crisp is an easy dish to make when you are short on time but want something delicious and comforting. This is a tasty go to recipe that I like serving my family a few times a month. Mix it up by adding a few varieties of apples to get a more flavorful dessert.
Ingredients:
4 medium apples, peeled and sliced
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
2 tbsp coconut sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with coconut oil.
Place the sliced apples in the baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, chopped walnuts, coconut sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and melted coconut oil.
Stir until the mixture is well combined and crumbly.
Sprinkle the oat mixture over the apples in the baking dish.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the apples are tender.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
