Sugar Free Beef Jerky

Do you love Beef Jerky but don't love the expensive price it cost to buy? Then here's a recipe that's even better then the store bought jerky you can make right from home.

Ingredients

12-14 ounces Sirloin Steak or Beef of choice sliced thin

1/4 cup Soy Sauce

1/4 tsp Black Pepper

1/2 tablespoon Chili Garlic Sauce

1 tablespoon Sesame Oil

1/8 tsp ground Ginger

4 drops Liquid Stevia

1 tsp Monk Fruit Sweetener

Instructions

Mix all the ingredients, except the meat, in a large bowl and pour into a large zip lock bag. Add the meat to the bag and close it. Then massage the bag to allow the sauce to penetrate the meat. Place bag in the fridge for at least 3 hours (preferably over night for best flavor results).

Once the meat has finished marinating turn the oven on 300 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet by

placing a baking rack on it.

Remove meat from refrigerator and lay the meat onto the baking rack in rows. Bake for 10 minutes to kill any potential bacteria. Then turn the heat down to 170 degrees.

Crack open the oven door and place a wooden spoon in between the doors oven to keep it slightly open. Continue cooking the meat for about 3 hours or until it dry's out and is bendable, but not cracking or breaking apart. Remove from oven and store in an airtight container until ready to eat.

Note: This recipe can be made with beef, chicken or pork. You can double this recipe and use whatever meat you’d like. I use the sirloin steak because it was what I had on hand.
