Spiced Harmony Chai

Warm up with a cup of our Spiced Harmony Chai, a blend of black tea and aromatic spices like cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom. This comforting beverage not only delights the senses but also offers numerous health benefits, such as aiding digestion, boosting metabolism, and providing powerful antioxidants. Perfect for a cozy day, this chai tea is a delightful way to enhance your well-being naturally.




Ingredients

2 cups Water

1 cup Milk (or Plant-Based Milk like Almond, Soy, or Oat)

2-3 Tablespoons loose Black Tea (or 3-4 black tea bags)

2-3 Tablespoons Sweetener (Sugar, Honey, or Maple Syrup)

2-3 Whole Cloves

2-3 Cardamom Pods

1-2 Cinnamon Sticks

1-2 Star Anise

1 tsp ground Ginger (or a small piece of Fresh Ginger, sliced)

1/2 tsp ground Black Pepper

1/2 tsp ground Nutmeg

1 tsp Vanilla Extract


Instructions

In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil over medium heat.


Add the cloves, cardamom pods, cinnamon sticks, star anise, ground ginger or fresh ginger slices, ground black pepper, and ground nutmeg to the boiling water. Let the spices simmer for about 5-10 minutes to release their flavors.


Add the loose black tea or tea bags to the spiced water. Let it steep for about 3-5 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.


Stir in the milk and bring the mixture back to a gentle simmer. Be careful not to let it boil over.


Add the sweetener of your choice and stir until dissolved. Adjust the sweetness to your preference.


Strain the chai tea into cups using a fine mesh strainer or a cheesecloth to remove the spices and tea leaves. If you used tea bags, simply remove them.
