Seared Scallop w/Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce



These Seared Scallops are easy to prepare and deliciously caramelized. Cooked until golden brown and bathed in butter and seasoned to perfection. Just typing this is making my mouth water, LOL.


Ingredients:

1 lb. sea scallops

2 tbsp. olive oil

2 garlic cloves, minced

1/4 cup unsalted butter

2 tbsp. lemon juice

Salt and pepper to taste


Directions:

Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat.


Add scallops to the pan and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

Remove scallops from the pan and set aside.


In the same pan, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.


Add unsalted butter to the pan and let it melt.


Add lemon juice and stir to combine.


Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.


Pour the sauce over the scallops and serve hot.
