Roasted Chickpeas


Roasted Chickpeas are an amazing treat to snack on. You can eat them as a substitute for popcorn if you are allergic to corn. They are so tasty and you can mix up the seasoning to make many different flavors like salt and pepper, chives or herbs, taco spices, get creative!


Ingredients:

1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp salt


Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.


Rinse the chickpeas and dry them with a paper towel.


In a mixing bowl, combine the chickpeas, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and salt. Mix well.


Spread the chickpeas in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.


Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the chickpeas are crispy and golden brown.


Remove from the oven and let them cool before serving.
