Oat Milk

Oat Milk

This homemade oat milk is smooth and naturally sweet, making it a versatile option for baking, cooking, and your morning coffee. Rich in beta-glucan, a type of soluble fiber, it helps maintain healthy cholesterol levels and supports heart health. Oat milk is also packed with B vitamins, promoting energy and a healthy nervous system. Plus, it’s dairy-free and easy on digestion, making it a great option for those with lactose intolerance.

Ingredients

1 cup Rolled Oats

3 cups Water

1-2 tablespoons Maple Syrup or Honey (optional, for sweetness)

Instructions

Add rolled oats and water to a blender.

Blend on high speed for about 30 seconds to 1 minute until smooth.

If desired, add maple syrup or honey for sweetness and blend again.

Strain the mixture through a nut milk bag or fine mesh sieve to remove any remaining oat pulp.Transfer the oat milk to a sealed container and refrigerate.

Shake well before using. Enjoy!
