Hemp Seed Milk

Making your own plant-based milk at home is easier than you think — and this Hemp Seed Milk recipe is one of the quickest! No soaking required, just blend, strain (if you’d like), and enjoy a silky-smooth, dairy-free milk that’s rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, magnesium, iron, and complete plant-based protein. Hemp seeds are a powerhouse for heart health and brain function, making this milk a wonderful choice for smoothies, coffee, baking, or simply sipping on its own. Plus, it’s naturally nut-free and gluten-free, making it a great option for those with allergies or sensitivities. Customize it with vanilla, cinnamon, or dates for a touch of sweetness. Ingredients

1/2 cup Raw Hulled Hemp Seeds (also called Hemp Hearts)

3-1/2 to 4 cups Filtered Water (Less for Creamier Milk)

1–2 Medjool Dates, pitted (optional, for natural sweetness)

1 tsp Vanilla Extract (optional)

Pinch of Sea Salt

Optional: 1/4 tsp Cinnamon or a Dash of Nutmeg for a warm flavor twist



Instructions

Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender. Blend on high for about 1 minute, until the milk is creamy and smooth.


Hemp seeds blend up very well, so you don’t have to strain, but for an ultra-smooth milk, strain through a nut milk bag, fine mesh sieve, or cheesecloth.


Pour into a glass jar or bottle. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days. Shake before using!
