Ingredients
1 cup Warm Water (about 110°F/45°C)
1 packet (2-1/4 teaspoons) Instant Yeast
1 tsp granulated Sugar
2 cups Rosa's Gluten Free All Purpose Flour (recipe link below)
2 cloves of Garlic (minced)
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Italian Herbs
1 teaspoon Onion Powder
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Dried Oregano
1/2 tsp Dried Rosemary
1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
1 tablespoons Olive Oil or Grape Seed Oil
Instructions
Oil and line with parchment paper a 8x4 inch loaf pan, set aside.
In a small bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
In a large bowl combine the gluten-free flour blend, salt, dried herbs, garlic, onion powder, and black pepper. Add in the activated yeast mixture and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Mix until well combined. The dough will be sticky.
Continue to mix in the bowl with a large spoon (I used a wooden spoon) for about 3-5 minutes until it becomes smoother and thickens.
Pour the dough in the prepared loaf pan and cover with a clean kitchen towel. Allow it to rise in a warm, draft-free place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 375 F degrees (190 C) about 20 minutes before the hour second rise time is up.
Bake for 50-60 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly in the pan for 20 minutes, then on a cooling rack until completely cooled about 2-3 hours.
Note: This bread is delicious toasted!
