Ingredients
1 cup Chickpea Flour
1/4 cup Nutritional Yeast
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
1/8 tsp Paprika
2 Tablespoons Grape Seed Oil (or a neutral oil like olive oil)
1/4 cup Water (more of less)
Salt to top the crackers, to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 F degrees (205 C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, set aside.
In a bowl whisk together the chickpea flour, nutritional yeast, baking powder, onion powder, turmeric powder and paprika.
Add the oil and slowly add in the water mixing until you get a stiff dough.
Place the dough on a piece of parchment paper and cover the dough with another piece of parchment paper the same size (about a 12 inch size piece of paper).
Roll the dough into a flat thin rectangle about 1/4 inch thick. Remove the top piece of parchment paper and cut the dough into small squares with a knife or pizza cutter. Using a chopstick or small pointy tool poke holes in the center of each square. Sprinkle a generous amount of salt on each cracker.
Place the crackers on the prepared baking sheet about 1 inch apart. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove and allow to cool completely and get crunchy.
Note: Adjust time of baking according to the thickness of your cracker.
