Ingredients
2 Whole Wheat Pita Breads
1/2 cup Marinara Sauce or your favorite tomato sauce
1 cup shredded Vegan Mozzarella Cheese
1/2 cup sliced Cherry Tomatoes
1/4 cup sliced Black Olives
1/4 cup thinly Sliced Red Onion
1/4 cup Baby Spinach Leaves
1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
1 teaspoon Dried Basil
1 tablespoon Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Place the pita breads on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Spread a layer of marinara sauce evenly over each pita bread.
Sprinkle the shredded vegan mozzarella cheese over the sauce. Arrange the cherry tomatoes, black olives, red onion, and baby spinach leaves on top.
Sprinkle dried oregano and basil over the toppings. Drizzle a little olive oil on each pita pizza. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the pitas are crispy.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes. Cut into slices and enjoy!
