Ingredients
1 small head of Cauliflower, cut into florets
1-1/4 cups Chickpea Flour (or All Purpose Flour)
2 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
1 cup Water
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Paprika
Salt and Pepper to taste (about 1/4 -1/2 tsp)
1/2 cup Rosa's Buffalo Sauce (recipe below)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
In a bowl, mix flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to make a batter.
Dip cauliflower florets into the batter, ensuring they're coated evenly, then into the panko.
Place battered cauliflower on a lined baking sheet lightly sprayed with oil and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Once baked, toss the cauliflower in buffalo sauce until coated or serve crispy with a side of buffalo sauce.
Serve with vegan ranch dressing and celery sticks.
Rosa's Buffalo Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
1/4 cup Hot Sauce
1/4 cup Sriracha Sauce
2 Tablespoons Vegan Butter
1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup
Instructions
Add all the ingredients to a sauce pan. Cook on medium heat until butter melts stirring until well blended and heated through.
Note: the batter for the coating of the cauliflower should be close to a pancake batter. If its too thin add a bit more chickpea flour.
