Broccoli Cheddar Tots


My husband absolutely dislikes broccoli, but he loves these Broccoli Cheddar Tots! So tasty and easy to prepare. Make these today as an simple way to get veggies into your family, especially for the picky eaters.


Ingredients


2 cups Broccoli (cooked and finely chopped)


1 large Egg


1/2 cup Almond Flour


1/2 cup Cheddar Cheese grated


1/2 tsp Onion Powder


1/2 tsp Salt


1/4 tsp Dried Parsley


1/4 tsp Black Pepper


1/4 tsp Garlic Powder


Instructions


In a large bowl mix all the ingredients together until well combined.


With a tablespoon measurer scoop out some of the mixture and shape it into a tot, repeat this


process to make 15 tots. Place each tot on a parchment lined or silicon mat on a baking sheet. Cover with plastic wrap and cool in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.


Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Once tots are cooled remove the plastic wrap and bake for 8-10 minutes, then turn the tots over so the other side can get browned, for another 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove the tots from the oven and serve. Enjoy!

Tip: I use kitchen scissors to cut up the broccoli to get a fine texture.
